SITN Seminar Series - Fall 2023 Application - DUE September 31st.

SITN is excited to announce the call for graduate student lecturers for the Seminar Series.

When: Wednesday, 7 to 9pm, November 1st to December 6th, 2023.
Where: Cambridge Campus
Who: 1-3 graduate students (per seminar)

Commitment:
-Prepare, individually or in a group, a cohesive and engaging talk suited for the general public
-Attend a 1 hour orientation/workshop (virtual, 6:30pm) on Wednesday, October 4th, 2023
-Meet with Seminar Coordinator and group members 1-2 times prior to lecture
-Attend formal practice talk of another group before your seminar
-Give formal practice talk the week before your seminar
-Deliver your final talk!

Broad topics can include:
- Environmental Science
- Biology
- Medicine
- Material Science
- Neuroscience
- Psychology
- Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, Bioengineering, ...)
- History of Science
- Robotics & AI
- Science-Informed Policy (climate change, ethical AI, ...)
- Physics and Astronomy
- Wild Card! Any topic you like … SURPRISE US!

Note: Speakers should be graduate students and highest priority will be given to groups consisting of all graduate students.
